Built for Course creators
Kajabi Basic allows five products. ClickFunnels Launch allows three courses. We don't cap either, on any plan, and we don't take a percentage of what you sell.
Unlimited courses on the $12 plan · video hosting included
The usual problem
Course software has settled on a pricing pattern: cap what you can publish, then take a slice of what you sell. Both are choices, not costs.
Five products on Kajabi Basic. Three courses on ClickFunnels Launch. The moment the business works, the plan stops fitting.
Kajabi takes 0.5–2% through your own Stripe. Kartra takes 5% on its entry plan. Thinkific takes 2.9%. At $10,000 a month that is $50–500 gone monthly.
Plenty of platforms want you on Vimeo or Wistia for hosting, which is another subscription and another place your content lives.
What you get
The constraints that push creators up a pricing ladder simply aren't here.
01
Unlimited courses, modules and lessons on every plan — including the $12 one. Launch a second course to test an idea without a billing conversation.
02
Unlimited members. A launch that goes well costs you nothing extra in platform fees.
03
Upload directly, stream with adaptive quality, add captions in as many languages as you need. No Vimeo subscription, no third-party branding on the player.
04
On every plan. Your processor's fee is your processor's; we add nothing. At $10,000 a month that is $2,400 a year that stays with you versus a 2% platform.
05
Release by date or by enrolment day, lock a module until the last one is done, and issue a certificate on completion. $29 plan.
06
Sales page, order form, order bump, one-click upsell and thank-you page — unlimited, on the same platform, feeding the same contact record.
The maths
| Kajabi Basic | $143/mo |
| Vimeo Pro | $20/mo |
| 2% of $10,000 in sales | $200/mo |
| All of it, on OpusFunnel | $29/mo |
Kajabi Basic also caps you at 5 products and 2,500 contacts. The 2% line is what they charge on top of Stripe's own fee when you use your own processor.
Where to start
$29 gets you unlimited courses and members, video hosting, certificates, a community and the store — which is the whole delivery side of a course business.
Move to $97 Grow when you want email marketing, automation and the CRM, which is usually when the list gets big enough to segment.
Questions
Yes. Unlimited courses and unlimited members on every plan. Certificates, communities and the store start at $29, and email and automation at $97, but the course caps never appear at any price.
No, on any plan. Stripe charges 2.9% plus 30¢ as it does everywhere; that goes to Stripe. We add nothing.
Videos and files transfer, and students import by CSV. The lesson structure gets rebuilt because no platform imports another's format. We do the rebuild free on the $97 plan and above.
Not a branded one. Students use the portal in a mobile browser. Kajabi and Thinkific's top tier both offer a branded app — if that matters more than the course cap, they are the better choice and we would say so.
Yes. One cart, one payment; the course unlocks and the booking link goes out, driven by the same purchase.
