Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 August 2026
This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Two kinds of data are involved: yours as our customer, and your customers' data that you process using OpusFunnel. They are treated differently, and both are covered below.
Two roles, two sets of rules
When we handle your account data - your name, email, billing - we are the data controller and this policy applies.
When you load your customers' data into OpusFunnel, you are the controller and we are your processor. We act on your instructions, we do not use that data for our own purposes, and we do not sell it. Ever.
What we collect
Because you gave it to us
- Name, email address and password when you create an account
- Billing details, handled by Stripe - we receive a token and the last four digits, never the full card
- Anything you write to support
Because you used the service
- Log data: IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps
- Product usage: which features you use, how often, errors you hit
What we do not collect
- We do not buy personal data from brokers
- We do not track you across other companies' websites for advertising
Why we use it
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the service you signed up for | Performance of a contract |
| Taking payment and preventing fraud | Contract and legal obligation |
| Support and service emails | Contract |
| Improving the product, diagnosing faults | Legitimate interests |
| Marketing email about our own product | Consent - withdraw any time |
| Keeping tax and accounting records | Legal obligation |
Who else sees it
We use a small number of suppliers to run the service. They may process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purpose we engage them for:
- Payment processing - Stripe, for subscriptions and card handling
- Platform infrastructure and hosting - the provider that runs the underlying application and stores your content
- Email delivery - for transactional and marketing email you send and receive
- Error and usage analytics - to find and fix faults
We will name the specific suppliers in our current sub-processor list on request - email support@opusfunnel.com.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International transfers
We operate from Israel and our suppliers operate in a number of countries, including the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account and content, while active | As long as the account is open |
| Account and content, after closure | 30 days, then deleted |
| Billing and tax records | 7 years, as the law requires |
| Support correspondence | 2 years |
| Server logs | 90 days |
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- export it in a portable format
- stop or limit how we use it
- stop sending you marketing - there is an unsubscribe link on every marketing email
Email support@opusfunnel.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We would rather you told us first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise - if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.
Children
OpusFunnel is not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
