See leads by waiting time on the dashboard
Check how quickly new leads are being answered, and open anyone who has waited too long.
A new lead cools quickly. The Leads by waiting time panel on the dashboard shows which of this week's new contacts nobody has written to yet, and how long they have been waiting.
Before you start
- Nothing. The panel fills in as new contacts arrive.
Steps
- Open Dashboard in the sidebar.
- Find Leads by waiting time. It has three boxes, with the most urgent on the left: - Waiting over 1 hour - Waiting over 5 min - Contacted today
- Press a box to list the people in it. Each line shows the name and how long they have waited, for example waiting 3 hours, or for contacted leads how fast they were answered, for example answered in 4 min.
- Press a name to open that contact, then write to them.
What happens next
- The panel looks at contacts who arrived in the last seven days.
- A lead counts as contacted once the first email to them has been sent from the app. They then move to Contacted today (if it was today) and leave the waiting boxes. Automatic emails count too: when the Enquiry received system email is switched on, a lead who fills in a form counts as contacted as soon as it goes.
- Each list shows up to eight people. When a box is empty it says so: Nobody is waiting. Every new lead has been touched. or No leads contacted yet today.
The panel and the inbox answer different questions. The inbox shows anyone, old or new, whose latest message you haven't answered, on any channel. This panel shows new leads you haven't emailed yet.
For agencies
Open the client first (Sub-accounts › Open) to see their dashboard. In your agency's own account, Dashboard opens Agency home instead.
Troubleshooting
Someone is listed as waiting, but I phoned or texted them. The panel only counts an email as contact. Send a short email from the app, or leave them; they drop off after seven days.
A lead from last month isn't listed. Only contacts from the last seven days are shown. Use the inbox, or filter Contacts with Created · in the last N days.
The inbox and this panel disagree. They count different things. A new lead you answered by text is answered in the inbox but still waiting here. A customer from last year who writes again is waiting in the inbox but never appears here.
Every form lead shows "answered in" a minute or less. The automatic Enquiry received email counted as the first contact. It tells you the lead heard back, not that a person answered them, so still follow up each new lead yourself.
"Couldn't load lead response times." Reload the page. If it keeps happening, report the problem.
