Read your dashboard
What each figure and panel on the dashboard means, and what to do about "Needs you".
The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. The top says how things went, the middle says who is waiting for an answer, and the bottom shows what happened most recently.
Before you start
- Nothing. On a brand-new account most panels are empty until your first page is live and people start arriving.
Steps
- Open Dashboard in the sidebar.
- Choose a period at the top right: Today, 7 days or 30 days.
- Read the yellow line, if there is one. "You can't take payments yet" means Stripe is not connected; "Your payment setup isn't finished" means Stripe still needs something from you. Press Connect Stripe or Finish setting up on the line. It stays until payments work, and cannot be dismissed.
- On a new, empty account, a Build my business card appears. Press Start to have a site, funnel, blog and form built for your trade. The card goes away once you have your first site or funnel.
- Read the three figures. They cover the last 7 days, or the last 30 when you choose 30 days (with Today chosen they still show 7 days, and the label says so): - Taken – the value of orders placed in the period. Pending, cancelled and refunded orders are left out. - New people – contacts who arrived in the period. - Views – visits to your published pages, with a small line showing the days. Each figure shows the change against the period before, as a percentage. With nothing to compare against, it says no earlier period.
- Read "Needs you". This panel lists things that are wrong and can be fixed, worst first. Each line is a link to the place you fix it. It checks, for example: - a download somebody paid for and cannot get; - a product on sale with no file attached; - a store with nothing on its shelves; - a live page nobody has visited; - a page that is still a draft. When nothing is wrong it says Nothing needs you. Everything live is working.
- Read "Leads by waiting time". Three boxes count new contacts from the last seven days: Waiting over 1 hour, Waiting over 5 min and Contacted today. Press a box to list the people in it, then press a name to open that contact.
- Read "New leads". It counts new contacts in the period, compares them with the period before, and draws a small line of how they arrived.
- Read "Recent activity". The latest new contacts, AI builds and bulk actions, newest first. Press a line to go to it.
- Use "Add to your business" at the bottom to start something new: a website, a shop, bookings, a funnel, a course or membership, or an automation.
What happens next
The dashboard refreshes each time you open it. Work the "Needs you" list from the top; each fix removes its line.
For agencies
In your agency's own account, Dashboard opens Agency home instead. If you have switched on Your own business in the sidebar, the dashboard shows your own business as described here. Inside a client account you see that client's dashboard.
Troubleshooting
"Leads by waiting time" says someone is waiting, but I phoned them. The board counts a lead as contacted when the first email to them has been sent. A call or a text does not move them. Send a short email from their contact record, or leave them; they drop off the board after seven days.
The figures show "no earlier period". There is nothing to compare with yet, so no change is claimed. It fills in once you have a full period behind you.
The overview says "The overview could not be loaded." Reload the page. If it keeps happening, see Tell support about a problem.
"Taken" is lower than my Stripe balance. It counts orders placed through this account in the last 7 or 30 days, leaving out refunds and unfinished checkouts. A payment taken straight in Stripe, outside your pages, is not an order here.
The Build my business card disappeared. It shows only while the account has no sites or funnels. Use Build my business in the sidebar at any time.
