Find your way around the app
What the sidebar, the top bar and each main area are for, so you know where to look.
Everything for one business lives in one account: your pages, your contacts, your messages, your sales and your automations. This article walks you round the screen once, so you know where each job is done.
Before you start
- You are signed in. If not, see Create your account and sign in.
Steps
- Look at the top of the sidebar. Your logo sits there, or your business name if you have not added a logo. Press it to open Funnel branding, where you set the logo, name and colours your visitors see.
- Under the logo is the account menu. It shows the name of the business you are in. It only appears when you have more than one account to choose from, for example a second business. See Run more than one business.
- The first group of rows is your daily work: - Dashboard – how the last few days went, and what needs you. - Conversations – one inbox for the messages people send you. - Contacts – everyone who filled a form, booked, bought or messaged you. Pipeline, Tasks, Companies, Bulk Actions and Custom Fields are tabs inside it. - Calendars – your booking calendars and the appointments in them. - Sales – tabs for Orders, Subscriptions, Transactions, Commissions and Coupons.
- The second group is where you build: - Build my business – answers a few questions and builds a website, a funnel, a blog and a form for your trade in about a minute. - Sites – tabs for Funnels, Websites, Stores, Blogs, Forms, Surveys, Analytics, Reviews, Client Portal and Domains. - Marketing – tabs for Social, Ads, Image ads, Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Affiliate program. - AI Agents – tabs for Getting started, Agents, Knowledge, Templates, Logs and Usage. - Automations – your Workflows, and their Settings. - Products – digital downloads, courses, memberships and certificates.
- At the bottom of the sidebar are Settings and Sign out.
- Along the top bar, from the left: - Ask AI opens the assistant. See Get help. - Quick links: Tasks (due today or overdue), Calendar (appointments today) and Follow up (leads waiting for a reply). A number appears on each when something is waiting. - Your wallet balance. Press it to open Settings › Billing & wallet. - The theme switch: light, match your system, or dark.
The sidebar is one flat list: one press, one page. An area with several parts shows its parts as tabs across the top of the page, never as a menu that opens in the sidebar.
What happens next
Nothing changes until you use it. A good next step is the first-week checklist, which takes you through the settings worth doing on day one.
For agencies
In your agency's own account the sidebar starts with an Agency group: Agency home, Sub-accounts, Prospecting, SaaS configurator, Reselling, Brands, Snapshots and Billing & wallet. Dashboard takes you to Agency home.
The business tools (contacts, sites, automations and the rest) are hidden in your agency account, because you usually run them inside each client. If your agency also runs its own business here, press Show beside Your own business to bring them back. Press Hide to tuck them away again. Inside a client account you always see the business tools.
For clients of an agency
The logo, the product name and the colours are your agency's. The layout is the same. Your agency decides your plan, so something you read about here may not be switched on for you. Ask your agency if you cannot find it.
Troubleshooting
The sidebar has disappeared. On a narrow window or a phone the sidebar folds away. Press the menu button at the top left of the page to open it, and the cross to close it.
I can't see the account menu under my logo. It only shows when there is more than one account to switch between. If you run a second business, add it first under Settings › General › Your businesses.
Everything looks too dark (or too bright). Use the theme switch at the right of the top bar. The middle button follows your computer's own setting.
A menu row I read about is missing. Agency rows only show in an agency account. Admin rows only show to people who run the platform. If you are a client of an agency, your agency may not offer that area.
