What is in Settings

A tour of the seven Settings tabs, what each one controls, and who can change it.

Settings holds everything about the business itself rather than its day-to-day work: who you are, how you look, which channels are switched on, who is on your team, how you get paid, what you pay, and which alerts you receive.

Before you start

  • Anyone on the team can open Settings. Changing most things needs an owner or admin; each article says who.

Steps

  1. Press Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. The General tab opens.
  2. Use the tabs across the top to move between the seven parts:
  • General – Your businesses (add a second business and pass contacts between them), Where leads reach you (contact email, phone and business address) and Social profiles. See Set your contact details and social profiles.
  • Branding – What your customers see: the logo, name and colours on your published pages, checkout and emails. See Add your logo, name and colours.
  • Channels – one line for each way leads and messages reach you (Email, Funnel, Social, Ads, SMS and Voice), whether it is on, and a button to set it up. Below it, Sending domain. See See which channels are switched on and Send email from your own domain.
  • Team – the people with access and their roles, and pending invitations. See Invite your team.
  • Payments – how you get paid by your own customers: Taking payments, where you connect Stripe. See Connect your Stripe account.
  • Billing & wallet – what you pay: your current plan, usage, add-ons, the wallet and its transactions, and the billing portal.
  • Notifications – where owner alerts go, and a switch for each alert. See Choose which email alerts you get.
  1. Texting has a page of its own. From Channels, press the button on the SMS row to open Texting, with tabs for Numbers, Registration, Compliance, Limits, Analytics and Restrictions.

Payments and Billing & wallet are easy to mix up. Payments is money coming in from your customers. Billing & wallet is money going out, for your plan and usage.

For what each plan includes, see Plans and what each one includes.

What happens next

Changes save when you press the card's Save button, or at once for switches. Each card confirms with a short message such as Contact details saved.

For agencies

In your agency's own account, Branding has a second card, What your clients see, for the app's look under your brand. Billing & wallet is also in the Agency group of the sidebar. The plans you sell to clients are under SaaS configurator, not in Settings.

For clients of an agency

Billing & wallet shows your plan with your agency rather than the app's own plans. Some things, such as AI, may be switched on or off by your agency.

Troubleshooting

A tab opened on General when I followed an old link. Old links to tabs that no longer exist open General. Links to the old branding tabs open Branding, and the old plans tab opens Billing & wallet.

Buttons are missing on a tab. Only owners and admins see buttons that change the team, billing, the sending domain and alerts. The Team tab says "Only an owner or admin can invite or remove people."

I changed my contact details but an existing funnel still shows the old ones. Where leads reach you sets the starting details for new funnels. A funnel that already exists keeps its own footer; change it in that funnel's editor.

I can't find where to change my business name. It is the Brand name in Settings › Branding › Edit funnel branding.
