Connect apps and AI assistants (coming soon)

Connecting AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT, and your own software, straight to your account is planned; here is what it will do, what you can use today and where the specification is.

Coming soon. None of this is live yet. There is no connection page, no API key and no address for an AI assistant to connect to today. This article explains what is planned, so you can decide how to work until it arrives, and points developers to the specification.

Before you start

  • Nothing to set up yet.
  • If you are planning an integration, read the developer guide. It is a specification: it describes how connecting will work when it is released, and the addresses it describes do not answer yet.

Steps

  1. Open the developer guide and read the quick start for your level: business, team member, agency, white-label agency or client of an agency.
  2. Read its Build status page. It lists what already exists and what each phase will deliver. At the time of writing, no phase has started.
  3. To pass contacts to another tool today, use the workflow step Send to a webhook (see Send contacts to a webhook).
  4. To use Zapier, Make or n8n today, catch that webhook in the other tool (see Connect Zapier, Make or n8n today).
  5. For help inside the app right now, use Ask AI in the top bar (see Ask the assistant a question or give it a job).

What happens next

The specification describes, among other things:

  • AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants that support the Model Context Protocol) connecting to your account, so you can ask "Who booked a workshop this week and hasn't paid?" from the assistant you already use.
  • Your own software reading and changing your account over a plain web API, with a personal token or by signing in.
  • Your team roles deciding what each connection may do, and a confirmation step before anything risky, such as sending messages or spending money.
  • Webhook subscriptions that are signed and retried, unlike today's workflow step.
  • Agencies connecting once for several client accounts, and white-label agencies offering connections at their own domain, under their own brand.

When it is released, owners and admins will manage connections in the app, and this article will be replaced with the real steps.

For agencies

The developer guide covers agency and white-label connections in detail. Nothing is live yet, for you or for your clients.

For clients of an agency

When this arrives, your agency decides whether it is available on your plan.

Troubleshooting

A tool or an AI assistant asks for an API key or a server address. There is none yet. Use Send to a webhook to send contacts out, and wait for the release for anything else.

An address from the developer guide returns an error. It is not live yet. The guide describes what will be built.

I need data from another tool to come into my account automatically. There is no API to send data in yet. Import contacts from a file, or collect them through your forms and funnels.
