A product in a store can come in more than one version, such as Small and Large, or Red and Blue. It can have a gallery of pictures, and it can show shoppers how many are left. All three are set in the product's form in a store's Products tab.

Before you start

Steps: add options, such as size or colour

  1. Open the store's Settings tab. Under At the door, tick Sell things in more than one colour or size, then press Save settings.
  2. Open the store's Products tab and press the pencil icon on the product.
  3. Under Options, press + Add an option.
  4. In the first box type the option's name, for example "Vessel". In the second, type its values separated by commas, for example "Amber glass, Concrete, Tin".
  5. Add up to four options, for example "Size" with "Small, Large" as well.
  6. Press Save changes.

Every combination shares the product's price and pictures. On the product page, shoppers pick each option from a list before adding it to the basket, and the basket keeps one line for each combination. The shelf offers a filter for each option.

Steps: add a gallery of pictures

  1. In the product's form, the Photograph is the main picture.
  2. Under More pictures, press the + tile and choose images from your computer. You can pick up to eight at once; a product holds up to twelve.
  3. To remove one, press the small x on its corner.
  4. Press Save changes.

On the product page the pictures appear as a gallery after the main photograph. Shoppers click a small one to make it the big one, and the big one to see it full size.

Steps: show stock

  1. In the product's form, choose Something you post. SKU, In stock and Weight (g) appear.
  2. Type the number you have in In stock, for example 24.
  3. Press Save changes.

The shelf says "Only 3 left" when five or fewer remain, and the buy button reads Sold out at zero. Leave In stock empty and stock is never counted, which is not the same as none left.

Things to know

  • Stock is one number for the whole product, not one per option.
  • The app does not count stock down when an order comes in. Change In stock yourself as you sell and restock.
  • Weight (g) is stored for your records. It does not change the delivery price.

For agencies

Work inside the client's store with Sub-accounts › Open.

Troubleshooting

Shoppers don't see a choice of size or colour. Sell things in more than one colour or size is off in the store's Settings tab. Tick it and press Save settings.

An option I added has disappeared. An option needs both a name and at least one value. One left without values is dropped when you save.

A picture will not upload. Only image files can be added. If it still fails, the message says why; try a smaller JPEG or PNG.

The product says Sold out but I have more. In stock is at 0. Change it to the number you have, or clear it to stop counting stock.

Two versions need different prices. Options share one price. Make each version its own product instead; Duplicate is the quickest way.
