The Reports tab shows how your social accounts are doing: how many people you reach, how many engage, which posts worked, and when your followers are actually online. A second view shows how quickly your team answers messages and comments.

Before you start

  • At least one social account connected, and some posts published. Numbers arrive about a day after a post goes out.

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing › Social and open the Reports tab.
  2. Choose how far back to look: 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
  3. Stay on Posting analytics to see: - Engagement rate (engagement as a share of the people reached), Total reach, Total followers and Posts this period. - Best post, the one people responded to most. - Posts per platform and Likes per platform. - Best time to post, a grid of engagement by weekday and hour. Use the box beside it to show Every account or one account. - Each account, with Followers, Change, Posts, Reach, Impressions and Engagement for each. - Over time, a chart of followers and engagement across every connected account. - Top posts, what people responded to most.
  4. Switch to Inbox analytics to see Messages received, Messages answered, Median first reply (how long somebody waited before they heard back) and Where it came from.
  5. Click Refresh to fetch the latest numbers now, or Export CSV to download them for a spreadsheet.

What happens next

  • Figures are collected once a day, so they are current to the last collection, not to the minute.
  • A gap in the Over time chart is a day nothing was measured, not a day nothing happened.
  • Each post's own numbers also appear under it on the Posts tab.

Troubleshooting

The Reports tab says "Nothing to report yet". No account is connected, or it was connected less than a day ago. Connect an account and check back the next day.

It says "Nothing measured for this period yet." Nothing you posted in that window has been measured yet. Numbers arrive about a day after a post goes out. Try a longer window.

Best time to post says "Not enough data yet." It needs about ten published posts before it says anything worth acting on. Keep posting and check again.

Over time says "There is not enough measured yet to draw a line." The chart needs a couple of days of figures. Come back in a couple of days.

Inbox analytics says "Nothing to report on the inbox for this period." No messages or comments arrived in the window you chose. Pick 90 days, or check the account's comment permission on the Accounts tab.

Today's figures look flat. Today has not been measured yet. Click Refresh, or check again tomorrow.
